So not posted for a while and I stopped doing life drawing from a few weeks as I was busy with work and comics stuff.

Now we are getting into 2014, I started back two weeks ago...so here is the current collection of drawings from the last 2 life drawing sessions.

Life Drawing...week 4

Tonight at life drawing saw a bit of a return to form...I found the model last week difficult to draw, and this is probably because he was a young, toned guy with lots of details in the muscle structure and tonal values when the light hit him. I tend to find the more curvaceous the figure, the easier it is to draw...anyway, all good stuff at the end of the day! Check out today's results below!

About 40 mins...the final piece of the evening.

About 23 minutes...my weekly inked trial using the Pentel brush pen. 

 

Left and centre, 3 minute warm-up sketches and far right, a 15 minute study (there is also a third 3 minute warm-up sketch on the far right image but I didn't like that one so much!).

Life Drawing...week 3

This week's naked drawings...! Had a bit of an 'off' day that day...something just wasn't working right. Maybe I was tired as well as getting a young guy (about 20-21 ish) and he was quite toned so there was lots of detail and trying to capture lots of detail in several short span drawings is difficult to do! Roll on this Thursday! Ta!
